We first met in the fall of 2011. In retrospect, it’s surprising that it took us that long to cross each other’s paths. From 2006 to 2010, we both lived in Bellingham, attended Western Washington University, and had many mutual friends.

After several group concerts, birthday parties, and new years celebrations we slowly came to realize the common interests we had. Music, food, and partying with our shared network of friends.

In the summer of 2012, Maddie and her best pal Leah decided to leave the Cali beaches, and head back home to Seattle. The girls moved in 3 blocks down from Jordan. After 3 months of concerts, late night after-parties, Maddie pretending to watch football games, carpool rides, Roy pets, and Jordan’s handyman repair duties… Jordan and Maddie had a full-blown crush on each other.

That’s not to say Maddie was ready to go on 1 on 1 dates. Maddie invited Leah and her friend Grayson on the first few dinner dates with Jordan. Eventually everything clicked, we no longer needed a third wheel, and we became inseparable.

The last 5 and half years have been filled with friends, shared homes, cats, weddings, holidays, vacations, grad school, career changes, one drone engagement and a whole lot of love. We are ecstatic to share the next milestone in our lives with you all!
